Type:
full-time Project Manager - Data Centers A leading national construction and development company is seeking an experienced Project Manager to join its growing team. This is an excellent opportunity for a construction professional who enjoys leading complex projects, building strong client relationships, managing project financials, and working collaboratively with field teams, subcontractors, vendors, architects, and owners.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and coordinate project teams from start-up through final closeout
- Manage project budgets, schedules, milestones, and overall performance
- Coordinate closely with field supervision, subcontractors, vendors, owners, architects, and consultants
- Administer owner contracts, subcontracts, purchase orders, and change orders
- Oversee purchasing, trade buyout, scopes of work, and contract documentation
- Maintain project logs, schedules, shop drawing logs, correspondence, and other project documentation
- Lead and participate in project management, schedule, and coordination meetings
- Monitor project financials, requisitions, payments, cash flow, and cost performance
- Identify and manage project risks while proactively addressing issues
- Support quality, safety, schedule, and productivity objectives
- Manage the punch list, subcontractor closeout, warranties, as-builts, owner training, and final project documentation
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related discipline
- 5+ years of relevant construction/project management experience
- Strong understanding of construction contracts, budgets, schedules, and project controls
- Excellent organizational and attention-to-detail skills
- Strong financial and business judgment
- Ability to analyze complex issues and make confident decisions
- Excellent communication, leadership, negotiation, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Strong relationship-building skills with clients, subcontractors, vendors, and internal teams
- A proactive mindset with a strong sense of urgency and initiative
