Day Shift Training Compensation:

$40,000 annual salary + commission Liberty Scanning is looking for a highly organized, accountable, and motivated Project Manager
  • Operations to join our team.
This is a hands-on Project Management position designed for someone who is capable of learning our operations from the ground up and eventually taking responsibility for the daily operations of the shop, project execution, employees, quality control, scheduling, and customer communication. This is not a desk-only Project Manager position. Every Project Manager at Liberty must understand the work they are responsible for managing. For that reason, the first 3+ months of employment will be heavily focused on operations and production training. During this training period, compensation will be $17.00 per hour. Upon successful completion of the training period and demonstrating the ability to meet Liberty's operational, leadership, quality, and performance expectations, the employee will transition into the Project Manager role at an annual salary of $40,000 plus commission.   • Operations Training The first three months are designed to teach you the operation from the ground up.
Before managing projects, customers, and employees, we expect you to understand the work being performed by the people you will eventually lead. During this period, you will work directly within our production operation and become proficient in: Document preparation Document scanning Adobe Acrobat Pro Image and document quality control File naming and organization Data entry and indexing Document archiving Project setup and workflow Box and inventory tracking Production standards Productivity expectations Quality assurance Chain of custody Confidential information handling HIPAA and applicable privacy requirements Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) Internal software and project management systems Project completion and delivery procedures Document Shredding and Routing Archives and Record Storage E-Waste and ITAD You should expect to perform the same operational work as the employees you will eventually help lead. We believe a Project Manager should never ask an employee to perform work that they do not understand themselves. Transition to Project Manager The training period is expected to last a minimum of approximately three months , but advancement is based on successful completion of training and demonstrated competency—not simply time in the position. To successfully transition into the Project Manager role, you must demonstrate: Strong understanding of our production processes Consistent accuracy and attention to detail Proficiency with Adobe Acrobat Pro and required software Ability to understand and follow SOPs Strong organization and time management Ability to prioritize multiple projects Dependability and attendance Professional communication Leadership potential Problem-solving ability Accountability Ability to work effectively with the team Understanding of Liberty's quality standards Ability to maintain production expectations After successful completion of training, you will transition to an annual salary of $40,000 plus commission and begin assuming increased Project Management responsibilities. Project Manager Responsibilities As you progress into the Project Manager role, you will become responsible for helping oversee the daily operation of the facility.
Responsibilities include:
Managing daily shop operations Assigning and prioritizing employee workloads Scheduling projects Monitoring production Managing project deadlines Maintaining quality standards Performing quality-control reviews Training and assisting employees Monitoring employee productivity Maintaining an organized production environment Identifying and resolving operational bottlenecks Communicating with customers Providing project updates Confirming customer requirements Coordinating project schedules Managing project documentation Maintaining chain of custody Ensuring SOP compliance Improving operational processes Assisting production when necessary Customer Communication This position will progressively become semi-customer-facing . As you become fully trained, you may communicate directly with customers regarding: Project review and requirements Project scheduling Project status Questions or changes File and indexing requirements Project completion Operational concerns Additional customer needs Professional communication and follow-through are critical. When a customer gives Liberty a project, they should feel confident that someone is taking ownership of it from beginning to completion. Daily Operations Leadership The Project Manager will help ensure that everyone in the shop understands: What they are working on What the priorities are What needs to be completed that day What deadlines are approaching What the customer's requirements are What Liberty's quality expectations are You will be expected to identify problems before they become larger problems. If production is falling behind, you should recognize it. If an employee needs additional training, you should recognize it. If a process is inefficient, you should help improve it. If a customer needs an update, you should make sure they receive one. Ownership and accountability are fundamental to this position. Quality Control Accuracy is one of the most important responsibilities of this position.

Project Manager $40,000 annual salary + commission Transition to the salaried Project Manager position is contingent upon successful completion of the training program and demonstration of the skills, knowledge, performance, and leadership ability required for the position. The Project Manager will progressively assume greater responsibility for employees, projects, customers, scheduling, quality, productivity, and daily shop operations.
