As part of our growing structural practice, you will work on diverse and challenging projects from concept through construction while collaborating with clients, architects, contractors, and multidisciplinary teams. In this role, you will build strong client relationships and help represent BHB throughout the Treasure Valley. We are seeking a driven professional who is passionate about structural engineering, enjoys mentoring others, and is eager to help grow our structural practice in the region.   • Deliver structural engineering solutions that exceed client expectations.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, architects, contractors, and project teams.
  • Lead structural design efforts from concept through construction.
  • Mentor and support the development of junior engineers and designers.
  • Contribute to a culture of responsiveness, coordination, and technical excellence.
  • Help strengthen BHB's reputation and client partnerships across the Boise market.

  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering with a structural emphasis; Master's degree preferred.
  • 5+ years of structural engineering experience
  • Professional Engineer (PE) licensure required; Structural Engineer (SE) licensure preferred.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively with clients, architects, contractors, and internal team members.
  • Strong team player in a multi-disciplinary environment that can manage and contribute to several projects simultaneously
  • Advanced knowledge of current industry software, including RAM Structural Systems, RAM Concept, RAM Elements, Tedds, Enercalc, RISA, Microsoft Excel
  • Experience with Deltek Ajera is a plus
Pay:
$87,000.00 - $112,000.00 per year
