Full Job Description Senior Project Manager Senior Project Manager Summary:
The Senior Project Manager leads the planning, execution, and delivery of traffic control and heavy highway projects from contract award through closeout. This role oversees multiple complex projects and serves as a key point of contact for customers, operations, and internal stakeholders. The position blends strategic oversight with hands-on project execution to ensure safety, quality, schedule, and profitability.Duties & Responsibilities:
Lead projects from estimating handoff through completion, ensuring scope, schedule, and budget alignment. Develop project plans, schedules, staffing needs, and lane-closure strategies in accordance with contract requirements. Coordinate with DOTs, municipalities, general contractors, utilities, vendors, and internal teams. Oversee field execution through site visits, productivity tracking, and quality control. Promote and support safety compliance through audits, site reviews, and incident follow-up. Manage budgets, job costing, change orders, and accurate billing documentation. Serve as the primary customer contact and resolve issues proactively. Ensure timely project closeout, including final quantities, documentation, and lessons learned.Supervisor Responsibilities:
None Education, Certifications & Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or related field preferred. 8-10+ years of experience in heavy highway construction, traffic control, or related industry. Strong knowledge of project planning, scheduling, cost control, and change management.Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to engage internal and external stakeholders. Excellent organizational, time management, and problem-solving abilities with strong attention to detail. Ability to manage multiple priorities, meet tight deadlines, and adapt to changing conditions. Self-motivated and able to work independently with minimal direction. Demonstrated ability to analyze information, identify issues, and develop effective solutions. Professional judgment and discretion when handling sensitive or confidential information. Proficiency with Microsoft Office and project management software.Physical Demands & Work Environment:

This position will work in an office setting but may travel to off-site locations and therefore require wearing all PPE depending on circumstance which may include dust mask, safety glasses, hard hat, ear protection, safety vest and/or steel toe footwear. At times client contract driven PPE may also be required.Salary range:
