Senior Project Manager II - Datacenters

Are you an experienced Senior Project Manager with a strong track record delivering Data Centers? A leading General Contractor specializing in mission-critical data centers is seeking a Senior Project Manager to oversee high-profile builds for national repeat clients. This role requires someone who already operates at a senior leadership level and is capable of owning full project delivery from preconstruction through closeout.

Experience:

10+ years of experience , with significant time spent as a Senior Project Manager on data center projects Proven ability to lead large-scale, technical, multi-phase projects with demanding schedules Strong command of client interface, contract negotiation, and executive-level communication Demonstrated success building high-performing teams and mentoring PMs, PE's, and field leadership Deep understanding of design coordination, commissioning, MEP-heavy project execution, and operational continuity in live environments

Responsibilities:

Provide executive oversight of large mission-critical data center projects Lead project strategy, financial performance, and risk management Oversee contract administration, including negotiations, terms, subcontracts, and purchase agreements Direct full project schedules and ensure all critical milestones are achieved Deliver monthly financials, owner billings, projections, and risk assessments at a senior leadership level Drive project safety, budget adherence, profitability, and long-term client satisfaction Guide preconstruction planning, conceptual budgeting, value engineering, and design coordination Identify and resolve constructability challenges early Maintain oversight of project budgets, insurances, bonds, and complex change orders Develop and mentor project teams, supporting organizational growth and succession planning Serve as the primary point of contact for major clients, representing the company with professionalism and authority Competitive senior-level compensation package Stable organization with a strong data center backlog A respected team known for technical excellence Leadership autonomy and support from executive teams Strong culture with realistic expectations and healthy work-life balance If you're a Senior Project Manager ready for a new challenge in the mission-critical sector, I'd love to connect.
