EXS/5 Target hiring range for this position will be between $51,350.00 - $81,400.00 per year. Offered salary will be determined by the applicant's education, experience, knowledge, skills and abilities, as well as internal equity and alignment with market data.
Job Summary:
Manages daily operations of a biomedical &/or social-behavioral research study involving multidisciplinary teams of colleagues, sponsors & other external project stakeholders. Monitors study performance, analyzes & review results, & supervises development & implementation of new protocols. Assigns work & supervises study staff & reviews technical operations ensuring that all processes, protocols & procedures are quality controlled & functioning up to standards. Develops implements & administers budgets, grant & administrative procedures. May co-author scientific papers for presentation & publication & coordinates writing, submission & administration of grants. Ensures that all study activities are completed by strictly following Good Clinical Practices (GCP) & all current local, state, & federal laws, regulations, guidance, policy & procedure developed by the NU Institutional Review Board (IRB), Food & Drug Administration (FDA) Code of Federal Regulations (CFR), & the International Conference on Harmonization (ICH). The All of Us Research Program (AoURP) at Northwestern Medicine is an unprecedented, large-scale multi-site study that will enroll 31,000 participants over the next 5 years. Under the direction of the Principal Investigator, the Research Study Coordinator for AoURP and partner studies, namely Nutrition for Precision Health (NPH), will support efforts to engage, enroll, recruit and retain participants. The candidate may also collaborate with internal/external stakeholders regarding team engagement and/or operation workflow, including but not limited to community outreach and financial vendors. Positions is based in Chicago, IL Working hours could vary to include evenings (past 5PM CT) and weekends, based on team need.

Positions may be based at one (or more) of the following locations: Chicago, IL; Geneva, IL; Grayslake, IL Working hours may vary and could include evenings and occasional weekends. Weekly hours worked may be dedicated to making phone calls. May be required to travel to various sites based on needs or recruitment, engagement and retention activities. Supervisor provides objectives, deadlines and specific instructions only for new, difficult, and/or unusual work. Work is reviewed upon completion and only occasionally to verify technical accuracy and compliance with practice, policy, and procedures.
