PROJECT SUPPORT COORDINATOR
Full-time Goodfield, Illinois Schedule:
Monday - Friday, 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM Who We Are Hoerr Construction, Inc. was founded in 1994. We are a utility contractor with a special focus on underground construction. As a union contractor, the key services we offer include directional drilling, sewer inspection and cleaning, CIPP pipe lining, and water and sanitary sewer construction. Job Summary Hoerr Construction, Inc. is looking for a motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our administrative team at our Goodfield, IL office. This role will be responsible for numerous administrative functions related to the processing of construction projects. This position will interact regularly with field foremen and superintendents as well as the administrative team working out of our Goodfield, IL office. Within your first 180 days, you will take ownership of construction billing and lien waiver administration for active projects and become a go-to resource for project managers. Key Job Duties for this position include: Handle construction project administration from start to finish including key activities such as: Assembling and organizing key project documents for the project manager. Prepping project deliverables. Completing budget checks. Construction billing including lien waiver administration. Submitting project deliverables. Respond to project-related questions. Utilize Cues GraniteNet inspection software for sewer video inspections and video reviews. Assist with Cues GraniteNet software administration for field and office users. Support project managers with various other administrative tasks. Assist with front office duties including answering phone calls, greeting visitors, delivery of packages to internal parties, and other misc. clerical tasks. Assist leadership team with other administrative projects as needed.
Job Requirements:
Prior project support experience is preferred but not required. Understanding of the various facets of a construction project is a plus. High school diploma or equivalent required. An associate's degree or coursework in business, construction management, or a related field is a plus. Meticulous and precise in approach; quality-conscious and thorough. Able to consistently complete detail-level work with a high-level of accuracy. Able to manage all aspects of a project administration with minimal supervision. Able to organize and prioritize work effectively to meet deadlines. Strong interpersonal skills. Able to effectively communicate and collaborate with both field crews and office staff. Action oriented and passionate about work. Proficient with MS Outlook, Excel, Word, & Teams. Knowledge of construction software systems a plus; experience with Trimble Viewpoint Vista ERP is a plus. This is an in-office position primarily involving desk and computer work, with occasional light lifting (up to 25 lbs.).
