Construction / Building Materials / Manufacturing Job Summary We are seeking a dependable and hardworking Carpenter / Truss Assembler to join our production team. This position is responsible for assembling roof and floor trusses, working from blueprints and layout drawings, and using a variety of hand and power tools to accurately construct building components. The ideal candidate has experience in carpentry, framing, residential construction, truss assembly, or general construction . Candidates with strong mechanical aptitude and hands-on construction experience are encouraged to apply. Attention to detail, the ability to work safely, and a strong work ethic are essential. Responsibilities Assemble roof and floor trusses according to blueprints, shop drawings, and production specifications Read and interpret construction drawings, measurements, and basic diagrams Measure, cut, position, and secure lumber and other building materials Operate pneumatic nail guns, saws, drills, impact drivers, and other hand and power tools Properly position lumber and components on truss tables or assembly stations Install metal plates, fasteners, braces, and other truss components Inspect completed trusses for proper dimensions, alignment, and workmanship Identify and correct assembly issues before products move to the next stage Safely move and handle lumber and finished trusses Maintain a clean and organized work area Follow all company safety policies and OSHA requirements Meet daily production and quality expectations Work effectively as part of a team in a fast-paced manufacturing environment Perform other construction and production duties as assigned Qualifications Previous experience in carpentry, framing, truss assembly, construction, or manufacturing preferred Ability to read a tape measure and accurately perform basic measurements Basic understanding of construction practices and building materials Comfortable using hand and power tools Ability to read basic blueprints, drawings, or production diagrams Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions Good mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills Ability to work independently and as part of a team Reliable attendance and strong work ethic Ability to work in a physically demanding environment Physical Requirements Ability to stand, walk, bend, kneel, and work for extended periods Ability to repeatedly lift and move lumber and building materials Ability to lift up to 50 pounds regularly Ability to work around sawdust, noise, and typical manufacturing/construction conditions Ability to safely operate and work around production equipment Preferred Experience Candidates with experience as a: Carpenter Framing Carpenter Rough Carpenter Truss Assembler Truss Builder Construction Laborer Framing Laborer Residential Construction Worker Woodworker General Laborer Building Material Production Worker We are looking for someone who shows up, works hard, pays attention to detail, and takes pride in building a quality product . Construction experience is highly valued, but we are also willing to consider motivated candidates with strong hands-on skills and the ability to learn quickly.Pay:
