Experience Schedule:
Full-Time | 40+
Hours Per Week Training:
Paid, On-the-Job Training Provided Join a Field Operation That's Growing Fast TORQ Coatings is growing quickly throughout Chicagoland. Today, we're already running 8+ installation crews in the field, and we're preparing to grow that number even further in 2027. That growth creates opportunity. We're looking for a Field Supervisor / Project Manager who can come in, learn our business, lead projects and people, and develop into a larger field leadership role as we continue to scale. Floor coating experience is NOT required. We will train you. We're looking for someone with leadership ability, a strong work ethic, hands-on experience, and the desire to build a career. You'll start by learning TORQ's installation process and successfully running projects and a crew in the field. You'll learn how we operate, how we serve customers, and what it takes to deliver projects to our standards. From there, we want to develop the right person into someone who can help us lead multiple crews, train new employees, maintain quality, improve efficiency, and help scale our field operation in 2027 and beyond. This isn't just another crew lead position. It's an opportunity to get into a fast-growing company, learn a new trade, prove your leadership ability, and grow as the company grows. What You'll Do As a Field Supervisor / Project Manager, you'll be responsible for leading your crew and owning projects from start to finish.
Responsibilities include:

We believe great field leaders understand the work before they manage the work. You'll learn our systems, lead from the front, prove you can successfully manage projects and people, and earn the opportunity to take on greater responsibility. Who We're Looking For You do not need to come from the floor coating industry. We're looking for someone who already has the characteristics of a strong field leader. You may be a great fit if you: Have previous crew lead, foreman, project management, or supervisory experience Have experience managing people in a hands-on environment Are comfortable working in the field Take ownership from start to finish Know how to hold people accountable Can make decisions and solve problems Communicate well with customers and team members Are organized and able to keep projects moving Take pride in quality work Are dependable and consistent Are coachable and willing to learn a new trade Want greater responsibility and upward mobility Want to grow with a company instead of simply finding another job Experience in construction, landscaping, concrete, flooring, painting, roofing, restoration, home improvement, remodeling, general contracting, moving, or another skilled trade can translate well into this role. Floor coating experience is preferred but not required. We'll provide the training. You bring the work ethic and leadership ability. Where This Role Can Go We're already operating 8+ crews throughout Chicagoland, and we expect our field operation to continue expanding in 2027. That means we need more than installers. We need our next generation of field leaders. You'll initially focus on mastering our installation process, successfully managing projects, and leading your own crew. As you prove yourself, the opportunity can expand into: Overseeing multiple installation crews Training and onboarding new employees Developing new crew leaders Conducting job-site quality inspections Coaching and holding crews accountable Troubleshooting difficult projects Improving production efficiency Supporting scheduling and resource planning Maintaining safety and quality standards across multiple crews Helping leadership scale our Chicagoland field operation The career path could look like: Project Manager / Crew Lead → Field Supervisor → Multi-Crew / Field Operations Leadership We want someone who sees running their first crew as the starting point, not the finish line.
