Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated and organized Project Coordinator to oversee all aspects of fence and deck building projects from start to finish. This role requires strong organizational skills, a keen attention to detail, and the ability to communicate effectively with clients, subcontractors, and team members. The ideal candidate will have a background in construction and be able to coordinate various tasks to ensure that projects are completed on time, within scope, and within budget. The Project Coordinator will play a key role in managing client relationships, ensuring safety standards, and ensuring high-quality work.
Key Responsibilities:
Project Planning and Coordination:
Create and verify project sketches, ensuring all measurements and project details are accurate. Collaborate with clients and designers to define project requirements and scope. Ensure all project files are properly updated with relevant details, specifications, and photos. Provide ongoing support and direction to the project team to ensure successful completion. Monitor the progress of each project to ensure work meets industry standards, building codes, and client specifications. Address and resolve any discrepancies, issues, or delays promptly and efficiently.Client Relations:
Serve as the main point of contact for clients from project initiation through to completion. Communicate regularly with clients to manage expectations, provide progress updates, and address concerns. Handle client inquiries, issues, and concerns in a professional, timely manner to ensure client satisfaction.Safety and Compliance:
Enforce company safety protocols and ensure all projects comply with relevant regulations and building codes. Proactively address any safety concerns or violations to maintain a safe work environment for all team members.Qualifications:
Basic understanding of construction methods, materials, and regulations, specifically in fence and deck building. Proven ability to effectively coordinate and manage multiple projects at once. Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills. Proficiency with project management software and tools. Valid driver's license with the ability to travel to job sites as required. Applicants must meet the legal driving age requirements and hold a valid driver's license for operating company vehicles.
