Project Manager Job Description We are seeking a skilled Project Manager to join a dynamic team involved in sustaining engineering and product development. Our team focuses on the development of electronics. Responsibilities Manage several hardware development and electrical engineering projects at a time. Dedicate 75% of the time to project management activities, ensuring projects are on track and meeting milestones and deadlines. Utilize project management tools to track project health and provide updates to stakeholders. Engage with supply chain management and migrate manufacturing suppliers as necessary. Interface with software engineering and mechanical engineering teams to integrate their inputs into the products. Spend 25% of the time on technical hands-on activities, particularly testing. Communicate effectively with project stakeholders to provide updates and insights. Essential Skills 7+ years of experience in project management. Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field. Strong project management skills. Experience managing multiple projects simultaneously. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Ability to communicate and provide updates to project stakeholders. Additional Skills & Qualifications Past technical experience in hardware and electrical engineering. Ability to execute tests as needed. Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Woodridge, IL. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $45.00 - $55.00/hr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
