We are currently recruiting a high-caliber Mechanical Project Manager to oversee complex industrial, heavy civil, and specialized mechanical installations. Job Summary The Mechanical Project Manager will lead complex mechanical projects from initial planning and procurement through field execution, commissioning, and final closeout. You will direct on-site mechanical operations, manage subcontractor performance, oversee budgets, and ensure all systems adhere to strict safety and technical specifications. Key Responsibilities Oversee mechanical scopes of work including heavy machinery, piping systems, hydraulics, and ventilation installations. Direct project scheduling, budget management, cost forecasting, and change orders using industry-standard management software. Manage vendors, subcontractors, and field installation crews to ensure milestone completion. Interface directly with clients, engineers, and executive leadership regarding project status and financial performance. Maintain rigorous quality assurance and job site safety protocols across all mechanical installations. Qualifications Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Construction Management, or equivalent experience. 7+ years of project management experience in heavy industrial, heavy civil, or underground construction. Demonstrated experience managing mechanical systems (piping, heavy machinery, hydraulics, or industrial HVAC). Strong track record in financial management, contract administration, and subcontractor coordination.
