Mechanical Operations Manager Location:

Kokomo, IN We are seeking an experienced Operations Manager to lead and oversee mechanical construction and service operations for our Kokomo office. This role is responsible for driving project execution, operational efficiency, workforce performance, and financial results while maintaining strong relationships with clients, and trade partners. The ideal candidate is a hands-on leader with a strong understanding of mechanical construction operations and a commitment to safety, quality, and team development.

Operations Manager Required Qualifications/Skills:

Bachelors degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field 7+ years of experience in mechanical construction operations or project management Prior experience managing multiple projects and teams simultaneously Proficiency & working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite Strong understanding of mechanical systems (HVAC, plumbing, piping, or process work preferred) Experience working in a union environment strongly preferred Proven leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills Strong operational acumen

Operations Manager General Responsibilities:

Oversee day-to-day operations for mechanical construction projects and service within the Kokomo market Provide leadership and support to the project team Ensure projects are executed safely, on schedule, within budget, and in compliance with contract requirements Collaborate with estimating, preconstruction, and business development teams on project planning and execution strategies Monitor project performance, labor productivity, cost controls, and financial reporting Maintain positive client relationships and serve as a point of contact for operational issues Ensure compliance with company policies, labor agreements, and regulatory requirements

Pay:

$140,000.00 - $170,000.00 per year
