• Position Overview
• Kiewit Power is seeking a senior scheduling manager to run a 20+ person organization supporting our Power Generation and Renewable markets.

This individual must plan, develop, coordinate, train, support, and manage all scheduling functions. The Senior Scheduling Manager is a fully qualified professional with solid experience, technical expertise, and the ability to lead a team towards a common objective. Assignments will require a proficiency in using various Project Controls software such as Excel, Primavera, and other company specific software.

• Kiewit Power Constructors (KPC) provides direct-hire construction services for Power Generation utilizing a union craft force. Kiewit Power Constructors builds major EPC power plant and solar projects throughout North America.

• office and requires full onsite presence.
• Responsibilities
• + Oversee critical path method scheduling (via Primavera) for construction projects.

+ Master Estimating (Level 2) and baseline (Level 3) schedule development. + Track project deliverables & monitor physical percent complete (Quantity tracking) + Provides guidance, direction, and specialized assistance for the resolution of difficult project control problems. May interface with clients, attend regular meetings, and give statistical reports. + Analyzes, evaluates, and forecasts current status against an established baseline schedule. + Assesses the impact(s) of design or construction changes and schedule slippages. Reports status of schedule to appropriate project and Company management as well to the client. + Understands and applies engineering, procurement, and construction terminology, concepts, and relationships. Develops and maintains critical path logic networks and bar charts utilizing this information. Accumulates and accesses historical data, such as performance experience, for use in maintaining a realistic basis for future planning and forecasting. + Overall accountability for the performance of the scheduling department. + Update weekly/monthly tasks as necessary to reflect scheduler expectations. + Ensure schedules consistently meet company defined quality metrics and industry standards (e.g., DCMA, USACE) by maintaining and enforcing established scheduling standards. + Coordinate the scheduling training syllabus. + Staff schedulers to projects. + Mentor schedulers and track professional development through use of Right Time Feedback, Kiewit University course nominations, and coordination of follow-on job assignments.

• Qualifications
• + Have prior experience scheduling large, combined-cycle power generation projects.

+ Be proficient in scheduling delay analysis (AACE International

Prospective Time Impact Analysis as Applied in Construction) and contract administration. + Provide direction and vision to a diverse team to meet business goals. + Have excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills. + Effectively supervise assigned personnel. + Have a strong work ethic and professional demeanor. + Enjoy working in a fast-paced environment to meet intense deadlines, goals, and objectives. + Be able to prioritize competing demands from upper management. + Be proficient in Microsoft Office (Power Point, Word, Excel). + Be proficient in scheduling software (Primavera P6, InEight Schedule, MS Project). + Meet the requirements of eligibility to work on Federal Projects. + Be willing to embrace integration of the P6 schedule with InEight project management suite software. + Supports scheduling from early conceptual planning through Engineering, Procurement, Construction, and Startup & Commissioning. + Be proficient in Primavera P6 Resource (labor hours and commodities) schedule loading. + Certification holder of Planning & Scheduling Professional (PSP) from AACE International, beneficial. \#LI-HG1
