Bowling Green, Kentucky, United States Talascend is currently seeking an Office Coordinator for a contract opportunity with our client in Bowling Green, Kentucky. Overview This role involves managing office routines, supporting project evaluations, tracking programs, maintaining technical knowledge, and assisting in safety and quality initiatives within a team environment. The position offers the opportunity to develop operational expertise and support continuous improvement efforts. Responsibilities Develops and maintains a system for managing office routine
Assists in planning, conducting, and evaluating projects
Monitors programs and projects
Maintains technical expertise and procedural knowledge
Keeps supervision advised of work in process
Assumes operational assignments as a working member
Assists in the coordination of special or unusual projects
Supports safety initiatives, including observing job hazard analyses, participating in safety walks, and reinforcing safe work behaviors
Assists with quality call responses, identifying issues, containing defects, and supporting root cause and corrective actions
Supports throughput management by monitoring production flow, addressing constraints, and escalating issues appropriately
Learns manpower management including staffing adjustments, task assignments, job rotations, and coordination with maintenance and support teams
Attends shift meetings, production reviews, and team huddles to understand escalation paths and decision-making processes
Assists with basic data tracking and reporting related to safety, quality, delivery, and productivity
Progressively takes on increased responsibility, potentially running the production line independently under standard work and leadership expectations
Supports continuous improvement activities and standard work adherence within assigned areas
Demonstrates professionalism, accountability, and teamwork when interacting with team members and leadership Qualifications Currently enrolled in education, preferably close to graduation
No specific experience required
Proficiency in Excel, Outlook, and Microsoft Office
Ability to work with cars and troubleshoot issues to find root causes
Strong people skills, communication skills, and ability to work with a variety of individuals
