Job Description

Position Overview The Industrial Self Perform Project Manager is responsible for the safe, profitable, and timely execution of industrial construction projects from award through closeout. This role owns project planning, field execution, cost control, and margin performance while leading self‑perform crews in active industrial environments. Successful candidates are strong operators with financial discipline who take full ownership of results. Key Responsibilities Safety & Compliance Lead and enforce the company Safety Program on assigned projects Partner with Safety to develop and execute site‑specific safety plans Proactively identify and eliminate safety risks and unsafe conditions Project Planning & Execution Manage projects from contract award through final closeout Develop and maintain project schedules, look‑aheads, and execution plans Anticipate schedule, cost, or scope risks and take early corrective action Ensure compliance with contract requirements, quality standards, and company procedures Cost, Margin & Productivity Management Own full project financial performance from start to finish Develop job plans aligned with budgeted labor, production rates, and costs Track and control labor productivity, equipment usage, and material costs Identify margin erosion early and implement recovery plans Review cost reports and forecast final job cost Identify, price, and execute change orders promptly Field Leadership & Coordination Align field leadership with safety, cost, schedule, and productivity goals Coordinate labor, materials, tools, and equipment efficiently Direct self‑perform crews and coordinate subcontractors as required Review daily work progress and adjust resources to protect schedule and margin Reporting & Client Management Prepare accurate internal and external project status and cost reports Obtain required permits and licenses Maintain strong client relationships while protecting company interests Identify and mitigate project risks impacting safety, cost, or schedule Qualifications Required 3+ years of construction project management experience (industrial preferred) Strong knowledge of construction means and methods Experience managing multiple projects in active industrial environments Proven leadership, communication, and organizational skills Experience with construction management software Self‑starter with a strong customer service mindset Preferred Industrial self‑perform experience PMP certification or equivalent experience Familiarity with safety programs, quality control, and schedule management Why Join Us Stable, high‑volume industrial contractor with strong self‑perform capabilities Safety‑first culture with experienced field leadership Opportunity to lead impactful industrial projects Competitive compensation and benefits
