The duties for this position focus on oversight, planning, execution, and completion of technical projects ensuring proper management of budget and timelines. Manage a selection of 2- 4 IT projects simultaneously, including but not limited to software implementations, integrations, Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP), and hardware/equipment upgrades. Work with project sponsors and Leadership to onboard projects, develop project plans, and ensure alignment to industry best practices or NKU institutional practices/initiatives. Perform projection administration tasks of management of project plan documentation, timeline, resource, and budget management, preparing and presenting status updates, and fulfilling governance needs like change management and compliance requirements. The Senior Project Manager is responsible for the successful completion of technical projects, requiring: Proven, extensive (6+ years) work experience as a Senior IT Project Manager working technical projects, technical project consultant work, must be demonstrated through portfolio work or verifiable references. Strong knowledge of technical system and software project best practices and methodologies Confident with IT onsite and cloud infrastructure components and software development processes Excellent client-facing and internal communication skills Excellent written and verbal communication skills Solid organizational skills including attention to detail and multitasking skills Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office and project management tools BS degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering or a related technical field PMP certification a plus
