Project Manager Hicks Lightning Protection is growing, and we're looking for a Project Manager to join our Louisiana team! Hicks Lightning Protection provides turnkey lightning protection and grounding systems for commercial and industrial projects. We service projects throughout the United States and abroad, with offices and employees located in Texas, Oklahoma, Arizona, and Virginia. Hicks Lightning Protection is currently looking to fill the position of Project Manager in the Madisonville, LA area. The Project Manager will work closely with field personnel, customers, contractors, and company leadership to oversee assigned projects from start to finish, ensuring projects are completed safely, on time, and within budget. Responsibilities Read and interpret plans and specifications for lightning protection and grounding installations. Track submittals, RFIs, contracts, and project documentation. Manage billings and invoicing, including follow-up on outstanding invoices. Oversee assigned crews for the installation of lightning protection and electrical grounding systems in accordance with shop drawings and current code requirements. Prepare job cost projections and monitor project financial performance. Schedule project activities and coordinate field crews. Perform material takeoffs and order required materials. Approve timesheets and manage overtime for assigned crews. Obtain plans, specifications, and required project certifications. Forecast manpower, materials, and project requirements. Oversee completion of projects on time, within budget, and in a neat, professional, and workmanlike manner. Communicate with company employees, electrical contractors, general contractors, and other jobsite personnel in every facet of the project. Maintain assigned company vehicle and document required routine maintenance. Perform manager truck inspections for field vehicles. Maintain, order, and receive remote warehouse materials and communicate material needs. Maintain company-issued electronics and equipment in accordance with company policies. Travel a minimum of 50% of the time, including possible air travel. Perform other duties as assigned. Qualifications Excellent knowledge of lightning protection systems or experience in a similar trade required. Minimum of 3 years of lightning protection experience or equivalent leadership experience in a similar field. High school diploma or

GED. OSHA 30

Certification. Valid driver's license and ability to meet company insurance qualifications. Excellent oral and written communication skills. Excellent time management and organizational skills. Proficiency with Microsoft Office and Windows-based software. Ability to work well with others as well as independently. Ability to maintain professionalism in personal presentation and all business interactions. Ability to pass company and jobsite background check and drug test requirements. Additional safety, equipment, or industry certifications and training are a plus. Physical Requirements Ability to sit or stand for up to 10-12 hours. Ability to lift, adjust, and move items up to 50 lbs. Ability to climb and work from ladders, scaffolds, roofs, and similar surfaces. Ability to work in various positions, including tight and confined spaces. Ability to perform repetitive motions involving hands, wrists, and fingers. Ability to operate machinery, power tools, motor vehicles, and heavy equipment. Ability to assess the accuracy, neatness, and thoroughness of assigned work. Ability to work in high and low temperatures, outdoor environments, noisy conditions, hazardous areas, and enclosed spaces.
