Job Description
CMT Project ManagerWe are seeking an experienced CMT Project Manager to manage construction materials testing projects and client relationships. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with soils, concrete, and/or asphalt testing and inspection and be comfortable coordinating field technicians and project activities.
Serve as the primary contact for clients and maintain strong relationships.
Coordinate, assign, and support field technicians.
Review and approve testing and inspection reports.
Monitor project quality, schedules, billing, and documentation.
Prepare proposals and assist with new project setup.
Identify opportunities for additional work with existing and new clients.
Promote and maintain strong safety and quality standards.
Hands-on experience with soils, concrete, and/or asphalt testing/inspection.7+ years of relevant experience with a high school diploma, or 1+ year with a bachelor's degree.
Strong communication, organizational, and numerical skills.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office and standard testing/data software.
Ability to coordinate field technicians and manage multiple projects.
Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
NICET certification.
DOTD or similar state transportation certifications.
Experience managing CMT projects, technicians, clients, and project documentation.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage day-to-day CMT projects from setup through completion.Serve as the primary contact for clients and maintain strong relationships.
Coordinate, assign, and support field technicians.
Review and approve testing and inspection reports.
Monitor project quality, schedules, billing, and documentation.
Prepare proposals and assist with new project setup.

Required Qualifications:
2+ years of Construction Materials Testing (CMT) experience.Hands-on experience with soils, concrete, and/or asphalt testing/inspection.7+ years of relevant experience with a high school diploma, or 1+ year with a bachelor's degree.

Proficiency with Microsoft Office and standard testing/data software.
Ability to coordinate field technicians and manage multiple projects.

Preferred Qualifications:
ACI certification.NICET certification.
DOTD or similar state transportation certifications.
Experience managing CMT projects, technicians, clients, and project documentation.
