Immediately Job Description The Technology Coordinator for the Ashburnham Westminster Regional Schools will service the technological operations of the district including within the areas of instructional and administrative technologies.
Essential Functions:
  • Project manager for all technology-related projects throughout the district
  • Manage and oversee the district's network and infrastructure
  • Plan and assist in the development of the department's budgetary planning in order to support the district's technology plan including the purchase and acquisition of services, hardware and software
  • Supervise and manage the district's email system, student information systems, single sign-on and rostering, website, phone/voicemail, camera and door security systems, copiers and the data reporting to the MA DESE and the federal government
  • Collaborate with Student Support Services to implement assistive technology for Special Education students
  • Ensure District compliance with federal and state technology mandates and initiatives as well as state and federal laws
  • Maintain inventory of software purchases and licenses
  • Create and maintain systems, policies and practices to defend the district from cybersecurity attacks
  • Lead and implement 1:1 and Bring Your Own Device (BYOD) district initiatives
  • Maintain Student Data Privacy Agreements for all software containing student personally identifiable information
  • Seek grant opportunities to assist in acquiring, maintaining and improving technology district-wide
  • Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned by the Superintendent of Schools This is a 12-month position.
