Job Description

Position Overview Our Client, a well-established commercial general contractor and construction manager serving New England, is seeking an experienced Senior Project Manager with 7+ years of construction project management experience. This role holds overall accountability for the planning, execution, financial performance, and delivery of assigned construction projects, and requires strong leadership and close collaboration with project teams, field personnel, clients, and other stakeholders. Travel to project sites throughout Rhode Island and Massachusetts, including Cape Cod and the Islands, is required. Duties & Responsibilities Lead project planning, budgeting, scheduling, and resource identification; select and coordinate project participants, including subcontractor buyout. Manage project accounting, including budgets, cost tracking, forecasting, and profitability. Develop, validate, and maintain project schedules, work plans, and change orders. Prepare and maintain project reports, meeting minutes, progress documentation, and records. Coordinate clients, architects, consultants, subcontractors, and field personnel throughout the project lifecycle. Identify and proactively resolve design or construction issues that could cause disputes, claims, or schedule impacts. Serve as a key client point of contact and review deliverables prior to submission. Manage procurement, submittals, and critical-path activities. Foster communication between office and field teams. Education & Experience Minimum of 7 years of construction project management experience. Bachelor's degree in Construction Management or related field preferred. Strong knowledge of construction methods, sequencing, and jobsite safety requirements. Demonstrated experience with scheduling, budgeting, procurement, and subcontractor coordination. Ability to read and interpret drawings, specifications, and contracts. Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills. Proficiency with relevant construction management technology. Willingness to travel throughout New England as required. Compensation Salary will be determined based on the candidate's qualifications, experience, and demonstrated capabilities.
Pay:
$150,000.00 - $200,000.00 per year
