Job Summary Millwork company specializing in high end residential cabinetry projects is seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented CAD Designer Project Manager to join our project management team and lead millwork design initiatives. In this pivotal role, you will combine your expertise in computer-aided design (CAD) and project management to deliver innovative, precise, and compliant millwork solutions for high-end residential millwork projects. Your leadership will ensure seamless coordination between design, engineering, and production teams, driving projects from concept through completion with efficiency and excellence. This position offers an exciting opportunity to influence high-quality craftsmanship in a fast-paced, creative environment dedicated to architectural and interior millwork. Duties Lead the development of detailed 3D models and construction drawings using CAD software such as AutoCAD, Cabinet Vision and Mozaik to meet project specifications. Manage multiple millwork projects by establishing timelines, budgets, and deliverables while coordinating with clients, architects, engineers, and fabrication teams. Oversee the creation of schematics, construction detail documentation, and system designs that adhere to building codes and industry standards. Utilize building information modeling (BIM) tools to enhance project visualization, clash detection, and data management for complex interior systems. Review 3D CAD models and drawings for accuracy, consistency, and manufacturability; provide guidance on graphic design elements when necessary. Collaborate with the shop team, cabinet makers, CNC operator on mechanical design aspects and system integration for comprehensive project solutions. Use Mozaik to produce high-quality visualizations and technical documentation. Lead design reviews with stakeholders to gather feedback, refine concepts, and ensure alignment with project goals. Maintain organized records of all project documentation including CAD files, revisions, specifications, and compliance reports. Qualifications Proven experience in CAD design within the millwork or construction industry with a strong portfolio of completed projects. Proficiency in a range of CAD software including AutoCAD, Cabinet Vision or Mosaic. Solid understanding of construction detail documentation and building code compliance requirements. Experience with building information modeling (BIM) tools for project coordination and visualization. Knowledge of interior design principles as well as mechanical system design related to millwork applications. Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines. Excellent communication skills for collaborating across teams and presenting technical concepts clearly. Pay:
