This vacancy is for a GS-0501-9, Financial Services Specialist located in the the Department of Homeland Security, U.S. Coast Guard, BASE
CAPE COD
COMPTROLLER and
BASE OPERATIONS DEPARTMENT
in
BUZZARDS BAY, MA.
Qualifications:
To qualify at the GS- 09 grade level, your resume must demonstrate at least one (1) full year of specialized experience equivalent to at least the GS-07 grade level in the federal sector. Specialized experience is experience that has equipped you with the ability, skill, and knowledge to successfully perform the duties of this position and is typically in or related to this line of work. Examples of specialized experience include performing the following types of tasks on a regular basis. Experience in analyzing financial and budget activities and monitoring funds. Experience in preparing financial reports and ensuring compliance with financial policies and procedures. Experience in evaluating financial programs and recommending improvements or corrective actions. OR Master's or equivalent graduate degree OR 2 full years of progressively higher level graduate education leading to such a degree or
