  • Full-time Boston Green Company LLC is seeking a highly motivated Senior Project Manager who thrives in a fast-paced environment and wants to play a key leadership role in a growing company.
Job Summary This is a full time role for a Senior Project Manager located in Freetown, MA. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys leading people, solving complex challenges, building client relationships, and delivering successful projects while helping shape the future of our organization.
Experience Leadership & Operations:
Lead multiple concurrent projects ranging from small service work to large-scale environmental remediation and industrial construction projects. Provide leadership and mentorship to Project Managers, Superintendents, and Field Supervisors. Develop project execution strategies that maximize efficiency, safety, and profitability. Support operational planning, staffing, and long-term resource allocation. Participate in strategic planning and continuous improvement initiatives.
Project Execution:
Direct all phases of project execution from contract award through final closeout. Review contract documents, specifications, schedules, and scope requirements. Develop detailed project plans, staffing schedules, procurement strategies, and budgets. Ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and in compliance with all contractual obligations. Identify and mitigate project risks before they impact cost or schedule.
Financial Management:
Assume full P&L responsibility for assigned projects. Develop and manage project budgets exceeding company profitability targets. Monitor labor productivity, equipment utilization, subcontractor performance, and material costs. Review job cost reports, forecasting, billing, and financial performance. Negotiate and manage change orders while protecting company interests. Lead project financial reviews with executive leadership.
Client Relationship Management:
Serve as the senior point of contact for clients, owners, engineers, consultants, and regulatory agencies. Build and maintain long-term client relationships. Conduct executive-level project meetings and progress reviews. Resolve client concerns while delivering exceptional customer service. Identify opportunities for additional work and long-term partnerships.
Safety & Regulatory Compliance:
Champion Boston Green Company's safety-first culture. Ensure compliance with OSHA, EPA, DOT, state, federal, and local regulations. Review project-specific Health & Safety Plans. Participate in safety audits and incident investigations. Ensure all environmental permits, reporting, and regulatory documentation are completed accurately.
Team Development:
Mentor and develop Project Managers and Assistant Project Managers. Assist in recruiting, hiring, onboarding, and evaluating project staff. Promote accountability, teamwork, and professional growth. Help develop the next generation of operational leaders.
Business Development Support:
Assist estimating and business development teams during proposal preparation. Participate in client presentations and preconstruction meetings. Review estimates for constructability and operational feasibility. Help identify strategic growth opportunities within target markets.
