Job description: Cummings Architecture + Interiors is a distinguished firm specializing in residential design throughout eastern Massachusetts, New Hampshire, and Maine. Situated in the historic downtown of Ipswich along the Ipswich River, we are a vibrant boutique architecture and interior design practice. Our firm has received numerous awards and has been published locally and nationally. We are currently seeking an experienced Office Manager/Bookkeeper. In addition to general bookkeeping, including accounts payable and receivable, payroll, paying all taxes, and preparing for the accountant at year-end, equallly general coordination of office operations would be expected. Remedial responsibilities include answering phone calls and emails, maintaining office supplies, filing, running occasional errands, including creating Proposals for their projects. The ideal candidate will possess the following attributes: Office administration/bookkeeping experience is essential. Strongly self-motivated and capable of managing multiple projects and associated tasks with flexibility. Highly organized, detail-oriented, and proficient in time management. QuickBooks experience (online preferred). A working knowledge of Microsoft Office and Google's suite of products. Able to work effectively both independently and collaboratively within a team. Responsible, friendly, communicative, and punctual. Experience in a high-level customer service environment Exhibit strong presentation skills and the ability to foster relationships with clients and vendors. A degree is not required, but a love of architecture and interior design is a plus!
