At Boston Conveyor & Automation (BCA), part of the Mpac Group, we're looking for a Project Manager to lead the successful delivery of automation and material handling solutions for customers across the food manufacturing, life sciences, and general manufacturing sectors.
This is an exciting opportunity to manage high-value projects ranging from $100K to over $10M, working with cutting-edge automation technologies and collaborating with cross-functional engineering, supply chain, finance, and leadership teams.
What You'll Be DoingAs Project Manager, you'll take ownership of projects from initial concept through planning, execution, installation, testing, and final handover. You'll serve as the primary customer contact while ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest standards.
Key responsibilities include:
Leading multiple automation and material handling projects simultaneouslyActing as the primary point of contact for customers throughout the project lifecycleDeveloping and communicating project schedules, timelines, and milestonesManaging project budgets, risks, and change ordersCoordinating resources across engineering, supply chain, finance, and leadership teamsMaintaining accurate project documentation and reportingSupporting Factory Acceptance Testing (FAT) and Site Acceptance Testing (SAT)Managing project closeout activities and punch listsBuilding strong customer relationships and identifying opportunities for continuous improvementConducting project reviews and implementing best practices for future successWhat We're Looking ForEssentialBachelor's degree in a technical discipline or equivalent practical experienceMinimum 4 years' experience in a customer-facing project management roleStrong knowledge of Microsoft Office and Microsoft ProjectUnderstanding of workplace and project safety standardsExcellent planning, organizational, and problem-solving skillsAbility to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environmentStrong communication and stakeholder management skillsWillingness to travel approximately 20% of the timePreferredExperience working within OEM (Original Equipment Manufacturing) environmentsKnowledge of Visual Manufacturing ERP systemsConstruction project management experience is highly valuedWhy Join BCA?At BCA, you'll be part of a highly experienced team delivering innovative automation solutions to industry-leading customers.
