full-time Job Responsibilities As a BIM Coordinator with Lake HVAC you will be working in a fast paced construction environment driving exceptional quality and service for midsize to large commercial projects.
Specific Responsibilities will include:
Review/Create 3D Models from General Contractors/Engineers Drawings
- Conduct clash detection and visual walkthroughs using NavisWorks Manage
- Audit and review models in Autodesk Revit
- Hold weekly coordination meetings with project team members
- Early design review and constructability analysis
- Manage / Update BIM Project Documents
- 3D Model Quantity Extraction / Verification
- 4D Scheduling / Simulation using Autodesk NavisWorks
- Technical management of project BIM data sets
- Perform Job site visits to for all coordination purposes
- Meet w/ Foreman and Project Managers (PMs) during layout & submission process
- Attend Coordination Meetings w/ clients and Lake PMs & Foreman as required
- As-Built Documentation
- Work with estimating department on project initiation, drawing distribution and manufacturer / subcontractor quotations Job Qualifications Will need to be highly organized, detail-oriented, hardworking and have the ability to effectively manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
Will need the ability to communicate effectively with personnel at all organizational levels.
Specific qualification includes:
- Knowledge in Autodesk Revit, NavisWorks & AutoCAD
- Knowledge of basic construction processes and procedures
- Advanced PC skills, specifically Microsoft Windows Applications (Word, Excel, Outlook)
- Completed coursework in Construction, Architecture or an equivalent combination of training and or work experience.
- BIM knowledge and interest in working with Construction Technology
- Excellent communications skills both written and verbal Including the following benefits:
