This role calls for a hands-on leader who can coordinate field activity, interpret technical documents, and keep projects aligned with scope, schedule, and budget. The ideal candidate brings strong communication, sound judgment, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities:
Direct electrical projects through all phases, ensuring work progresses safely, efficiently, and in accordance with contract requirements. Lead and support field teams by assigning priorities, monitoring performance, and helping resolve day-to-day project challenges. Review drawings, specifications, and related construction documents to confirm project scope, identify issues, and support execution planning. Develop and maintain project schedules, track milestones, and adjust plans as needed to keep deliverables on target. Monitor project financial performance by preparing cost forecasts, reviewing spending trends, and analyzing budget-to-actual results. Coordinate with clients, subcontractors, and internal stakeholders to maintain strong working relationships and clear communication throughout the project lifecycle. Support design-build activities by aligning field execution with technical requirements and project objectives. Prepare project reports and documentation to provide visibility into progress, costs, risks, and upcoming needs. At least 5 years of experience in electrical project management, or a combination of project management and electrical foreman experience. Proven background in electrical construction with required experience in design-build environments. Ability to read, interpret, and work from contracts, drawings, specifications, and other construction-related documents. Strong leadership skills with experience supervising and coordinating field labor. Solid planning, scheduling, analytical, and negotiation abilities. Effective verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to work well with clients and project teams. Experience with job costing, projections, and budget-versus-cost analysis. Familiarity with ConEst software, Structure C/F Data, or similar tools is an advantage.
