PROJECT/TASK MANAGER
Provides technical, cost and schedule management to assigned projects or task(s), including contract and subcontractor management. Participates in the development of technical project plans, proposals, reports, schedules and task order and administrative reporting. May perform high level technical services on assigned task(s). Conducts planning and provides recommendations to client on task workload. Manages risk tracking process. Attends customer meetings and may serve as client liaison. Interacts with vendors, other agencies, and other client staff and stakeholders. Coordinates development of deliverables and products. Ensures quality assurance of project deliverables. Maintains current knowledge of relevant technology as assigned.

  • Develops, documents and communicates project plans using Microsoft project or similar tool.
  • Manages and is responsible for the successful completion of all tasks in assigned project.
  • Works across program teams to identify issues or risks and develops plans to resolve
  • Interface with company and customer leadership to communicate progress
  • Proactively provide feedback on process improvements
WHAT YOU'LL NEED TO SUCCEED
Bring your program management expertise along with a drive for innovation to GDIT. The Project/Task Sr Manager must have:
    Education:
    Bachelor of Arts/Bachelor of Science
      Experience:
      5+ years of related experience
      • Security clearance level: TS/SCI wPoly
      • US citizenship required
      Preferred Skills:
      PMP Certification, IT experience
      • Role requirements: Manages multiple small to medium sized projects.

This is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary. Rather, salary will be set based on experience, geographic location and possibly contractual requirements and could fall outside of this range.
