Job Description

Project Manager (Commercial Landscaping) Responsibilities
  • Oversee the planning, implementation, and tracking of (landscape) construction projects from inception to completion
  • Develop and execute business strategies to achieve short and long-term goals
  • Implement rigorous and comprehensive quality control processes to ensure the highest standards are consistently met
  • Drive the company's financial performance and growth, including profit/loss management and day-to-day control of operational expenditure
  • Lead and motivate teams to advance employee engagement and develop a high performing managerial team
  • Partner with the president to execute the company's strategy, and report on key results, issues, and opportunities
  • Ensure all legal and regulatory documents are filed and monitor compliance with laws and regulations
  • Drive the company's sustainability efforts with a focus on environmental and landscape construction.
Qualifications
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in a senior management role within the construction industry
  • Proven track record of managing large, complex (landscape) construction projects
  • Strong understanding of commercial construction processes, with a particular emphasis on environmental and landscape construction
  • Demonstrated experience in financial planning and strategy, managing profitability, quality control, and operations management
  • Exceptional leadership skills, with the ability to develop and guide teams to achieve their best
  • Excellent interpersonal and public speaking skills
  • Proficient in construction software programs
  • Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Business Administration, or related field
  • Advanced problem-solving skills and the ability to make sound decisions based on a variety of factors
  • Strong commitment to ethical business conduct and compliance with all industry regulations.
