Senior Civil Project Manager/Designer Job Description We are seeking a Senior Civil Project Manager/Designer to join our team and assist with various land development projects in Howard, Prince George's, and Montgomery Counties in Maryland. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in using AutoCAD and Civil 3D to produce engineering designs, including stormwater management, erosion and sediment control, site grading, and water and sewer plans. This position is office-based and requires a deadline-oriented individual with excellent software skills and relevant design experience. Responsibilities Utilize AutoCAD and Civil 3D for engineering designs related to stormwater management, erosion and sediment control, site grading, and water and sewer plans. Contribute to commercial, residential (subdivisions and mixed-use), and industrial (flex warehouse space) projects. Collaborate with a project team including civil engineering, landscape architecture, and survey disciplines. Ensure timely completion of design tasks while maintaining high-quality standards. Essential Skills Minimum of 7 years of experience designing with AutoCAD & Civil 3D. At least 5 years of experience working on land development projects. Proficiency in stormwater design, stormwater drainage, land development, and site planning. Familiarity with sediment and erosion control measures. Some exposure to or interest in project management. Additional Skills & Qualifications PE license preferred but not required. Experience with Microsoft Office and project management tools. Possess a degree in engineering with 0-5 years of experience, preferably with EIT certification or progression towards it, or be a non-degreed civil designer with technical certification or an associate's degree and experience in design. Work Environment The position is based in an office environment, working Monday through Friday, 40 hours a week. You will be part of a collaborative project team, emphasizing a friendly and supportive atmosphere. Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Burtonsville, MD. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $35.00 - $55.00/hr.
