We specialize in commercial and industrial roofing, offering new and re-roof installation, maintenance, and energy-efficient solutions, including green roofs and photovoltaic solar systems. Backed by experienced craftsmen and expert crews, we deliver reliable service and innovative solutions for all roofing needs. We are seeking a Commercial Roofing Project Manager for our Jessup, MD location. The basic function of the Project Manager is to effectively coordinate administrative efforts with the field production efforts. Operationally, the Commercial Roofing Project Manager will be responsible for strategic planning each project daily as well as implementing production, productivity, quality, and customer-service standards. Job Functions (includes): Manage all aspects of multiple commercial roofing projects running concurrently.
Provide direction over areas of responsibility including construction schedules, cost control, dispute resolution, contract administration and quality control.
Prepare and issue purchase orders, subcontracts, AIA, and other agreements/documents.
Resolve complex construction-related issues, disputes and disagreements.
Review status and monitor the project relative to scheduling and cost controls
Review and verify applications for payment and perform overall fiscal management of multiple construction projects.
Conduct periodic site visits as required to monitor construction progress, schedule, plan, and specification compliance with contract, construction documents, and requirements
Track and assure the expeditious review and approval of submittals, shop drawings, the preparation and transmittal of the owner's comments, and assure compliance by contractors and consultants as may be required.
Financial responsibilities include providing/reviewing budget information, monitoring expenditures, identifying variances between estimated budget and revenue, and implementing corrective actions
Coordinates with General Contractors, vendors, suppliers, and customers to ensure the projects are completed from start to finish in a timely and efficient manner
