Kensington, MD (with travel across both territories)

Full-time Reports to: Production Manager About Us SERVPRO of Wheaton/Kensington and Poolesville/Clarksburg/Damascus is a locally operated restoration and reconstruction company serving Montgomery County and the surrounding DMV area. The Role We're looking for an Assistant Production/Project Manager to work directly alongside our Production Manager, helping keep jobs moving end-to-end — from the mitigation crew's first call and equipment pickup, through repair/reconstruction scope, scheduling, and final Certificate of Completion. This is a hands-on role for someone who wants exposure across the full job lifecycle and room to grow into full production or project management. What You'll Do Support day-to-day scheduling and dispatch of mitigation crews across both territories Track active jobs from mitigation start through equipment pickup, repair, and final walkthrough Review job files for completeness — photos, moisture readings, equipment logs, DocuSketch Coordinate repair/reconstruction job progress, materials, and subcontractor scheduling Communicate with homeowners and property managers on job status, timelines, and scope Help manage vendor relationships (flooring, cabinets, paint, etc.) and order tracking Assist with punch walks, final inspections, and Certificate of Completion sign-offs Step in on quality-control site visits and scheduling/logistics as needed to keep jobs on track What We're Looking For Prior experience in restoration, construction, or field operations/project coordination preferred Strong organizational skills — comfortable tracking many active jobs across multiple crews and phases Clear communicator, comfortable talking with clients, vendors, crews, and management Valid driver's license and reliable transportation for site visits Eagerness to learn and grow into a full Production Manager or Project Manager role over time What We Offer Competitive pay based on experience Direct mentorship and a clear growth path to Production Manager or Project Manager Company vehicle or mileage reimbursement for site visits
