Job Description
Assistant Project Manager
An established and highly respected national commercial general contractor is seeking an experienced Assistant Project Manager to join its growing team and support the construction of large-scale commercial projects! This position is an excellent opportunity for a construction professional with experience managing ground-up multifamily, student housing, mixed-use, municipal, and other complex commercial projects. Qualifications:
- 3+ years of experience as an Assistant Superintendent, Field Engineer, Project Engineer, or related construction leadership role.
- Experience with ground-up student housing, multifamily, mixed-use, higher education, commercial, or other complex commercial projects.
- Knowledge of construction sequencing, scheduling, and subcontractor management.
- Understanding of Type I, III, and V construction methods preferred.
- Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications.
- Strong communication and leadership skills.
- Proficient with Procore, Bluebeam, Microsoft Office, and construction management software.
