Job Description Job Description Job Description Senior Architect / Project Manager We are supporting a growth-oriented architecture firm seeking a Senior Architect / Project Manager to lead projects and support their continued growth. This role is suited for an architect who can guide projects from concept through construction, coordinate multidisciplinary teams, and navigate client and technical challenges while delivering successful project outcomes. The position offers the opportunity to take on increasing leadership responsibility within the firm. Responsibilities Report to a Vice President / Principal in Charge and operate with a high level of autonomy Lead projects from planning through construction, including schematic design, documentation, and construction administration Establish project plans and oversee execution from kickoff through occupancy Coordinate engineering and specialty consultants, including structural, MEP, civil, technology, food service, and others as required Participate in internal and external project meetings with clients, consultants, and contractors Support design work with 3D models, visualizations, mockups, and presentation materials as needed Participate in technical review processes throughout all project phases to ensure quality and performance Assist with client presentations, interviews, and strategies to secure new work Develop and review building plans in collaboration with project teams Estimate project costs, track budgets, and monitor financial performance Manage project schedules, timelines, billings, payments, and contracts Maintain working relationships with clients, contractors, and consultants Provide mentorship to team members Qualifications Professional degree in Architecture Ten (10) or more years of experience in architecture, engineering, or construction environments Experience with BIM and hands-on production and coordination workflows Technical Skills Proficiency in AutoCAD; Revit experience preferred as the firm continues its transition to industry standards Experience with tools such as Bluebeam, Navisworks, BIM 360 / ACC, and cloud-based collaboration platforms Familiarity with Deltek/Vantage or similar project management systems a plus Professional Attributes Demonstrated ability to lead projects and coordinate multidisciplinary teams Client-facing experience with responsibility for scope, schedule, and delivery Ability to balance design intent, technical requirements, budget, and schedule Comfortable operating in a project-driven environment with multiple active priorities Collaborative, solutions-oriented approach to project challenges Why Join Us Established firm with decades of experience serving Michigan clients Opportunity for continued growth working closely with senior leadership and contributing to initiatives supporting the firm's continued growth Compensation & Benefits Compensation includes a bonus structure and participation in the firm's Employee Stock Ownership Plan (ESOP), a company-funded benefit that allows employees to share in the long-term value and growth of the firm.
