Job Description

Responsibilities include overseeing J&S siding production/jobsites, providing customer service as required, oversee production teams, scheduling, weekly timecards for payroll, and oversee subcontractors as required, while maintaining an environment of trust, diversity, and inclusion within your team.
  • Supervise service department.
  • Manage direct Reports/Teams (Track responsibilities and progress on jobs).
  • Monitor and analyze projects/ Monitor jobsite efficiency / Perform onsite quality control checks.
  • Inspect job sites prior to onset of jobs starting to confirm that crews/jobs are equipped, and work is ready for teams to begin.
  • Perform a final quality walk to ensure standards are met and the job site is clean.
  • Oversee the production schedule for all employee crews, and sub crews.
  • Oversee the sales schedule for starting new projects.
  • Employee timecard verification for payroll / Verification for subcontractors pay.
  • Assist in interviewing/hiring for J&S Siding positions.
  • Driving to job sites to oversee crews and deliver materials as needed (utilizing a company vehicle).
  • Contribute towards the achievement of the company's strategic and operational objectives.
  • Strive to improve profitability and increase productivity of crews.
  • Verify manufacturer installation requirements are met.
  • Responsible for employee reviews.
  • Interact with employees and resolve employee issues as needed.
  • Ability to lift 50+ lbs.

Skills/Qualifications:
  • Construction and Management experience (3-5 years preferred).
  • Siding experience (siding knowledge of all products especially on Hardy & LP).
  • You must have a valid driver's license and be insurable as this position will have use of a company vehicle.
