Project Manager

Job Description We are seeking a skilled Project Manager with expertise in software systems engineering and project management, specifically within the automotive industry. The role requires expertise in managing project activities, dependencies, and estimations using Atlassian's Jira toolchain, and ensuring alignment across multiple projects and organizational units. Responsibilities Monitor and adjust project activities and their dependencies according to the defined project life cycle and estimations. Create and manage relationships between work items using Atlassian's Jira toolchain. Define, monitor, and adjust project estimates of effort and resources based on project goals, risks, and boundaries. Develop and refine effort estimation models for identified process areas and deliverables. Identify interfaces of the project with other projects and organizational units, and monitor agreed commitments. Ensure consistency of estimates, skills, activities, schedules, plans, interfaces, and commitments across affected parties. Synchronize due dates and target dates of work items within ADAS programs and projects to multiple vehicle programs' work items and to the architecture platform's work items. Essential Skills Proficiency with Atlassian's Jira Toolset, including work plans, individual work items, dependencies, and other relationships between work items. Experience working across multiple projects and programs. Ability to create and refine filters and dashboards. Traditional project management skills. Additional Skills & Qualifications Experience with Jira Automation/Scripting, such as automatically syncing due/target dates across multiple work items. Project management experience within the automotive industry. Business process development expertise. Familiarity with ADAS products, development, and/or project management. Agile/SAFe project management experience. Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Dearborn, MI. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $45.00 - $48.00/hr.
