About Us Stronghold Contracting Group (SCG) builds the fiber networks that connect communities. We deliver outside plant fiber construction, including directional drilling, aerial and underground placement, splicing, and restoration, for broadband providers across multiple states. We are launching a new project in the Detroit area and need a hands-on Project Manager to deliver it. The Role The Project Manager owns the delivery of assigned fiber construction projects from kickoff through closeout. You will manage schedule, budget, production, subcontractors, permitting, and client communication, working closely with field leadership to get the work built safely, on time, and on budget. You will report to the Program Manager. What You Will Do Plan and manage project schedules, budgets, and production targets from kickoff through closeout Coordinate daily with Construction Managers, crews, and subcontractors on field execution Track production, costs, and change orders; prepare accurate billing and WIP reporting Manage permits, utility locates, inspections, and traffic control requirements Serve as the day to day client contact and lead project meetings and status reports Enforce SCG safety standards and drive corrective action on quality, damage, and restoration issues Verify redlines, as-builts, and closeout documentation are complete and accurate What You Bring 3 or more years of project management experience in telecom, fiber optic, or utility construction Working knowledge of OSP construction methods, including drilling, aerial and underground placement, splicing, and restoration Experience managing budgets, schedules, subcontractors, and client relationships Proficiency in Smartsheet and Microsoft Office, especially Excel Valid driver's license with a satisfactory driving record OSHA 10 required; OSHA 30 preferred PMP or Michigan fiber construction experience preferred To Apply Apply through Indeed.
