We work with brands of all sizes to take products from initial concept through development, manufacturing, and launch. We are looking for a highly organized and proactive Product Manager to manage client projects throughout the entire product development and manufacturing process. Position Overview The Product Manager will serve as the primary point of contact for assigned clients and will be responsible for moving their products efficiently from concept to production. This role requires strong communication, organization, attention to detail, and the ability to coordinate multiple projects across R D, purchasing, packaging, testing, production, quality, and fulfillment. The ideal candidate is comfortable working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment, managing deadlines, solving problems, and keeping both clients and internal teams aligned. Key Responsibilities Manage client product development projects from initial onboarding through production and launch. Serve as the primary point of contact for assigned clients, providing clear and consistent project updates. Gather and organize product requirements, briefs, specifications, packaging information, and client feedback. Coordinate with the R D team on formula development, sample creation, revisions, and approvals. Track samples and client feedback to ensure revisions are completed efficiently. Coordinate third-party testing requirements, including microbial, stability, compatibility, and preservative efficacy testing when applicable. Work with purchasing and vendors to track raw materials, packaging components, pricing, lead times, and availability. Coordinate packaging development, including bottles, jars, tubes, pumps, caps, labels, cartons, and other components. Ensure approved formulas, packaging, artwork, specifications, and required documentation are complete before projects are released to production. Work closely with production and quality teams to ensure client requirements are accurately communicated and followed. Maintain project timelines and proactively identify issues that could delay development or production. Communicate delays, changes, or potential problems to clients before they become larger issues. Maintain accurate project information, approvals, documentation, and client communications within company systems. Manage multiple active client projects simultaneously while keeping priorities and deadlines organized. Assist with production planning and launch coordination as projects transition from development into manufacturing. Build strong, long-term relationships with clients and help identify opportunities for additional products, reorders, and growth. Qualifications Strong organizational and project management skills. Excellent written and verbal communication. Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate documentation. Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously. Comfortable communicating directly with clients, vendors, and internal departments. Strong problem-solving skills and ability to take ownership of issues. Proficiency with project management software, spreadsheets, email, and general business software. Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and rapidly growing company. Experience in cosmetics, personal care, contract manufacturing, private label manufacturing, product development, packaging, or consumer packaged goods (CPG) is strongly preferred.
