Southeast Michigan Job Requirements:
Bachelor's Degree or Master's Degree in Geology, Hydrogeology, Engineering, or related from an accredited university. 8-12 years of Geology, Hydrogeology, Environmental Engineering or related environmental experience. Strong background/experience with environmental due diligence (Phase I, Phase II, & BEA/due care) Experience with Michigan Environmental Regulations. Strong technical writing skills, proficient with Microsoft Office. Excellent organizational and communications skills. Ability to effectively manage and coordinate staff. Must hold a valid driver's license.
Preferred:
40-hour
OSHA HAZWOPER
training and current with 8-hour refresher courses. Part 201/213 experience.
Job Description:
Successful candidate will work as part of a multi-disciplinary team in a fast-paced and dynamic environment providing due diligence and remediation services. Conducting/managing Phase I ESAs to ASTM or higher standards. Conducting/managing Phase II ESAs. Conducting/managing hydrogeological investigations and remediation projects. Understanding due diligence and brownfield redevelopment processes. Demonstrating full knowledge of each project's status and goals. Performing tasks across multiple disciplines to bring about successful project completion. Providing quality environmental services. Responding to customers in a timely manner. Other duties not listed may also apply.
