This position is ideal for someone who enjoys working directly with customers, has a strong understanding of security technology, and thrives in a role that combines technical sales, project management, fieldwork, and relationship building . The Security Solutions Project Manager will guide customers through the entire security-system process—from the initial consultation and site assessment through system design, installation, final commissioning, and ongoing customer support. Client Consultation & Technical Sales Conduct on-site security assessments for prospective and existing clients to evaluate their facilities, security needs, and potential vulnerabilities. Consult with customers to develop customized solutions involving alarm systems, video surveillance, access control, and related security technologies . Gather accurate site measurements, technical specifications, equipment requirements, photographs, structural information, and other details necessary for complete project design. Work closely with engineering to ensure project information is accurate and complete before installation. Prepare and present professional security proposals tailored to each customer's needs and budget. Develop new sales opportunities through existing customer relationships, referrals, system upgrades, and additional security solutions. Promote Recurring Monthly Revenue (RMR) opportunities, including monitoring services, advanced system features, and other ongoing security services. Build long-term relationships with customers by providing exceptional service and remaining engaged beyond the initial installation. Project Management & Quality Control Serve as the primary point of contact for customers throughout the project lifecycle. Take ownership of projects from the initial sales consultation through installation, final commissioning, and customer handoff. Work closely with the Engineer and Installation Manager to communicate project requirements, scope, timelines, equipment needs, and customer expectations. Coordinate with internal departments to help ensure projects remain organized, accurate, and on schedule. Identify and communicate potential job-site issues or changes that could affect project scope, cost, or installation. Visit job sites as needed throughout the project to ensure the work is progressing according to specifications. Conduct detailed quality-control inspections following installation. Verify system functionality, programming, equipment placement, workmanship, and overall project completion. Ensure the finished system meets company standards and customer expectations before final project closeout. Address customer questions or concerns promptly and work with the appropriate departments to resolve issues. Customer Relationship Development Maintain strong relationships with customers throughout the life of their security systems. Follow up with customers after installation to ensure satisfaction and identify additional needs. Identify opportunities for system upgrades, additional cameras, access control, alarm enhancements, monitoring services, and other security solutions. Encourage customer referrals and develop repeat business through exceptional service and communication. Schedule & Travel Requirements This is a field-based position requiring an active presence at customer locations. Travel may be required up to five days per week , depending on project and customer needs. Site assessments are primarily scheduled between 9:00 AM and 5:00 PM, Monday through Friday . Must be comfortable traveling to customer locations and spending time both in the field and in an office environment. A valid driver's license and reliable transportation are required.
