Full Job Description Residential Project Coordinator Salary Range:
$41,000-$47,000 annually Full-Time | Monday-Friday | 7:00 AM-4:00 PM In-Person Position Before You Apply At Johnson's, we are very intentional about who we add to our team. The posted salary range is based on experience. Previous experience in flooring, construction, project coordination, scheduling, or a similar service environment can influence where a candidate falls within the range. Position Overview The Residential Project Coordinator is primarily responsible for being the customer's point of contact from the time a residential flooring order has been finalized and ordered through scheduling, installation, and completion. The customer's experience is KEY! This position requires someone who can prioritize, communicate effectively, stay ahead of changing schedules, solve problems, and keep projects moving from order through installation. PRIORITY
Serve as the primary point of contact for customers once their order has been finalized. Maintain consistent communication with customers regarding order status, material availability, scheduling, and installation. Set clear expectations regarding preparation requirements before installation. Keep customers informed when schedules, materials, or circumstances change. Respond to customer questions and concerns promptly and professionally. Coordinate acclimation deliveries and shoe molding pickup/preparation when needed. Help ensure the customer has a positive experience from the time the order is placed through completion of the project. Project Coordination Coordinate and schedule installations as materials become available. Communicate project scope, concerns, and schedule changes with installers. Coordinate upcoming jobs, deliveries, pickups, and material needs with the warehouse. Order and track materials. Track projects to ensure they remain on schedule. Prepare job paperwork for the warehouse and installation teams. Communicate job inconsistencies, order status, and concerns with the appropriate team members. Identify and address potential problems before they become customer problems. Have the ability to be firm, but kind when situations require it. What We're Looking For Strong customer service and communication skills. Organized with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects. Dependable with strong follow-through and attention to detail. Comfortable handling changing schedules and solving problems. Flooring, construction, scheduling, or project coordination experience is preferred.
