- $28 an hour 1 day ago Benefits Health savings account Paid holidays Health insurance Dental insurance Paid sick time Qualifications Contractor management Filing Dispatching QuickBooks Office experience Full Job Description Hassig Companies is a family run commercial plumbing and mechanical contractor in downtown Mount Clemens.
- Take in service calls and project requests by phone, email and customer portals. Quote our standard rates and get work scheduled with customers and field crews.
- Track open jobs to completion. Stay on top of next steps, material and equipment deliveries, and customer updates before they have to ask.
- Coordinate subcontractors and vendors. Submit permit test reports and schedule final inspections with municipalities.
- Enter vendor bills, expenses and credits in Airtable. Check job assignments, catch duplicates and missing information, and clear up the routine data problems that break the QuickBooks sync.
- Prepare estimates and invoices from approved scopes and pricing, and follow up on unpaid balances.
- Review crew time entries for weekly payroll prep.
- Keep insurance records, certificates, driver lists and job files current. What we're looking for
- Real experience keeping accurate records in business software. You should be comfortable finding information, comparing documents, correcting entries, and noticing when something doesn't add up.
- Experience with billing, vendor bills, service coordination or similar detailed office work.
- Able to keep status and next steps current across 20 or more open jobs without losing one.
- Professional and persistent on the phone and in email with customers, subcontractors and building inspectors.
- Accuracy with invoices, vendor bills and payroll records, and discretion with both.
- Available to work in person at our Mount Clemens office on the posted schedule. Airtable and QuickBooks Online experience helps, but you don't need both. Construction, trades, service dispatch or property management experience is a plus. We'll teach you our workflow and the plumbing side. What we offer
- $23 to $28 per hour to start, based on experience
- Regular performance and pay reviews. Our people typically see a raise once or twice a year.

- Monday through Friday, 8:00 to 4:00. No nights, no weekends.
- Company provided equipment and Hassig gear
- Small office.
Pay:
$23.00- $28.
