Job Description
Overview We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Project Manager to lead and oversee construction projects from inception to completion. In this pivotal role, you will coordinate all phases of construction, ensuring projects are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget. Your expertise in construction management software, project scheduling, and site coordination will drive project success while maintaining high standards of safety and quality. Responsibilities Develop comprehensive project plans, including scope, schedule, budget, and resource allocation using tools like Primavera P6 and HeavyBid. Coordinate with clients, contractors, architects, and internal teams to ensure seamless project execution. Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and construction drawings such as Civil 3D files to guide project workflows. Manage project schedules proactively, adjusting timelines as needed while communicating updates clearly to all stakeholders. Oversee construction site activities to ensure compliance with safety regulations, quality standards, and contractual obligations. Utilize construction management software for tracking progress, managing contracts, and maintaining detailed documentation. Conduct regular site visits to monitor progress, resolve issues promptly, and ensure adherence to design specifications. Facilitate effective communication across teams through project coordination efforts and timely reporting. Review construction estimating data and assist in contract negotiations to optimize project outcomes. Ensure all work aligns with industry standards for blueprint reading, schematics interpretation, and construction best practices. Experience Proven experience in construction management or related roles with a strong background in project coordination on commercial or civil projects. Extensive knowledge of construction estimating processes and familiarity with contracts administration. Proficiency in industry-standard construction management software such as ProCore, Bluebeam, Primavera P6, Civil 3D, HeavyBid, or similar platforms. Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining excellent time management skills. Hands-on construction site experience with a solid understanding of safety protocols and site operations. Strong skills in project scheduling and resource planning using Primavera P6 or equivalent tools. Ability to read complex blueprints and schematics accurately for effective project execution. Excellent communication skills for liaising with clients, team members, vendors, and subcontractors effectively.
