Sunday and Monday's Summary of Position:
Provide friendly, responsive service to create an exceptional dining experience for all of our guests. Each server's primary objective is to provide our guests with a great experience so they will want to return. During your shift you may be required to take direction from either the MIC or GM. At times, a "non-manager", such as a server/shift lead, may be assigned shift control and you will be expected to follow their direction.
Essential Functions:
▪ Follow company Steps of Service sequence and salesmanship strategies as required.
▪ Welcome and greet guests. Make all our guests feel comfortable and let them know you're there to personally take care of them.
▪ Inform guests of specials and menu changes.
▪ Make recommendations you genuinely feel your guests will enjoy.
▪ Answer questions about our food, beverages and other restaurant functions and services.
▪ Take food and beverage orders from guests, enter orders in our point-of-sale system which relays orders to the kitchen and bar.
▪ Deliver food and beverages from kitchen and bar to guests in a timely manner.
▪ Takes carry-out/curbside orders by phone or in person. Helps complete orders and transactions or assist carry out/curbside team if applicable.
▪ Perform side work at the start and end of each shift as required by service station assignment, which may be up to 20% of your scheduled shift.
▪ Maintain clean service areas.
▪ Promptly reports equipment and food quality problems to a manager.
▪ Assumes 100% responsibility for accuracy and appearance of products served.
▪ Attends all scheduled employee meetings and brings suggestions for improvement.
▪ Monitor and observe guests' dining experience. Ensure guests are satisfied with the food and service. Respond promptly and courteously to any requests.
▪ Prepare the final bill, present check to guest, accept payment, process credit card charges or make change (if applicable).
▪ Be ready and willing to assist other servers, bartenders and hostesses as needed.
▪ Bus, pre-bus and reset tables as necessary.
▪ Prepare certain beverages, desserts and food items as required by your restaurant's setup.
▪ Thank guests for their visit and invite them to return.
▪ Be available to fill in as needed to ensure the smooth and efficient operation of the restaurant as directed by the MIC.
▪ Additional duties and responsibilities as assigned.

From $5.49 per hour
