Ypsilanti, MI Job Details Full-time $60,000 - $70,000 a year 1 day ago Benefits Health insurance Dental insurance 401(k) Qualifications Bachelor's degree Full Job Description Job Overview This position will focus on operational efficiency through data analysis, workflow improvement, and adoption of automation tools. Support ERP automation initiatives, help teams adapt to new systems, and ensure operational workflows, including customer invoicing, shipping, and commissioning coordination; working closely with Operations, Project teams, Finance, Deployment, and IT to support effective system usage and data integrity. Responsibilities Support project and operations teams with tracking, reporting, and data visibility. Maintain accurate operational and project data to support downstream processes such as customer invoicing, shipping, and commissioning. Identify workflow gaps and continuous improvement opportunities across operational and delivery-related processes. Support the rollout, stabilization, and ongoing use of ERP automation tools. Identify and document issues with automated workflows and data pipelines, including impacts to invoicing, shipping documentation, or commissioning readiness. Work with IT, Finance, Operations, and Deployment teams to communicate requirements and validate fixes. Support coordination of shipping and commissioning activities by ensuring system data, documentation, and workflows are aligned and complete. Learn new automation tools and workflow changes introduced across the organization. Develop user documentation, best‑practice guidance, and reference materials. Train and support team members on new tools, workflows, and process changes. Act as a liaison between Operations, Projects, Finance, Engineering, Deployment, and IT during system changes. Qualifications Degree or diploma in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Operations, Engineering, Business, or Information Systems. Mechanical Engineering and Industrial Engineering strongly preferred. This position is open to new graduates if they can demonstrate superior academic standing, excellent communication skills and some previous relevant co-op experience. Strong interest in operations analysis, process improvement, systems support, or project environments. Strong interest in ERP systems, automation tools, or integrated operational workflows strongly preferred. Proficient in MS Office. Working understanding of financial and accounting concepts, particularly customer invoicing and data flow dependencies. Familiarity with shipping, logistics, or commissioning coordination processes is an asset. Strong analytical, documentation, and communication skills. Comfortable leading change, training users, and supporting teams in evolving environments. Agility to move fast in an environment where things are sometimes loosely defined and may have competing priorities or deadlines. Flexibility to take calls outside of regular work hours to address critical project needs, unexpected issues, or urgent client concerns requiring immediate attention.
