Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Reviews project proposals, drawings, and plans to determine timeframe, funding limitations, procedures for accomplishing project, staffing requirements and allotment of available resources to various phases of project. Provides daily, weekly and monthly schedule support to project team to preserve the Contract and Project Schedule. Develops and maintains relationships with clients, subcontractors and related vendors. Completes materials take-offs , establishes cost estimates, develops and tracks material procurement schedule. Confers with project staff to outline work plans, assign duties, responsibilities and scope of authority; coordinates activities with project staff to ensure project progress within prescribed budget and provides technical advice to resolve problems. Establishes work plans and potential staffing for each phase of each project. Reviews status reports prepared by project personnel and modifies schedules or plans as required. Coordinates project activities with activities of governmental regulatory or other governmental agencies. Completes work in accordance to the Kraus-Anderson (KA) Project Managers Manual. Assist the Safety Department in an effort to enforce the corporate safety and health policies and procedures Performs other duties as assigned.Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
Minimum 2-5 years related experience or equivalent of education and/or experience Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations Demonstrated computer proficiency (MS Office- Word, Excel and Outlook) and knowledge of project management software Satisfactory verbal and written communication skills, including ability to effectively communicate with internal and external customers Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines, while maintaining a positive attitude and providing exemplary customer service Displays willingness to make decisions and includes the appropriate people within the decision making process Ability to use time productively, maximize efficiency and meet challenging work goals Ability to maintain compliance with all company policies and procedures Observes safety and security procedures and reports potentially unsafe conditions Ability to possess and maintain exceptional work ethic as well as uphold company values and demand the highest standard of conduct from self and others Undertakes self-development activities and seeks increased responsibilities Looks for ways to continuously improve both personally and professionally
