Job Description

Talascend is currently seeking a Project Manager for a contract-to-hire opportunity with our client in Maplewood, Minnesota . Overview The role involves project management for construction projects, managing the complete project lifecycle from design through closeout, ensuring infrastructure improvements are completed on time, within budget, and to quality standards. Responsibilities include executing the annual capital expenditure plan and overseeing infrastructure projects such as HVAC replacements, electrical upgrades, roof replacements, and major equipment installations. Responsibilities Execute the annual capital expenditure plan, delivering multiple concurrent infrastructure projects including HVAC replacements, electrical upgrades, roof replacements, building envelope improvements, and major equipment installations Manage all phases of project delivery from design development through construction closeout and commissioning Oversee contractors and construction teams to ensure work meets specifications, quality standards, and safety requirements Control project budgets and schedules, proactively addressing issues to keep projects on track Coordinate project activities to minimize disruption to facility operations and building occupants Review shop drawings, RFIs, and change orders for technical accuracy and cost impact Conduct site inspections and quality control throughout construction to verify compliance with plans and specifications Manage project closeout including punch lists, as-built documentation, warranty collection, and final acceptance Track capital spending against approved budgets and provide regular status updates to stakeholders Qualifications Educational requirements and years of experience not specified, demonstrate ability to perform the duties of this position through relevant experience, training, or education Technical understanding (MEP), project management experience, organized and detail-oriented for admin duties We thank all applicants for their interest.
