Job Description
Our client, a leading facilities management and infrastructure services organization, is seeking a Project Manager / Project Engineer to join their team in St. Paul, MN . As a Project Manager / Project Engineer, you will be part of the Engineering and Capital Projects team supporting facility infrastructure upgrades, manufacturing operations, and capital improvement initiatives. The ideal candidate will have strong project management skills, technical knowledge of MEP systems, and exceptional organizational abilities, which will align successfully within the organization.

St. Paul, MN What's the Job?- Manage multiple capital improvement projects, including HVAC replacements, electrical upgrades, roofing systems, and facility infrastructure modernization initiatives.
- Oversee the full project lifecycle from planning and design through construction, commissioning, and project closeout.
- Coordinate contractors, vendors, and stakeholders to ensure projects are completed safely, on schedule, within budget, and according to quality standards.
- Review project documentation, shop drawings, RFIs, and change orders while monitoring project costs, schedules, and technical requirements.
- Conduct site inspections, provide project status updates, and support facility operations by minimizing disruption during construction activities. What's Needed?
- 5+ years of experience in project management, project engineering, facilities management, construction, or industrial maintenance.
- Strong technical understanding of MEP systems, including HVAC, electrical, cooling towers, chillers, and other building infrastructure.
- Proven ability to manage multiple concurrent projects, budgets, schedules, and contractor relationships.
- Excellent organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills with a strong attention to detail.
- Self-starter mindset with the ability to work independently in office, laboratory, and industrial manufacturing environments. What's in it for me?
