Project Manager Job Description We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead and oversee projects from both a technical and managerial perspective. This role involves estimating projects, creating and managing change orders, managing client relations, and enhancing customer satisfaction. The Project Manager will generate project schedules and work closely with field supervision to ensure projects remain on track from start to finish. Responsibilities Lead projects from a technical and managerial perspective Estimate project timelines and costs Create and manage change orders Manage client relations to enhance customer satisfaction Generate and manage project schedules Work with field supervision to ensure projects remain on track from start to finish Essential Skills Previous industrial managerial experience Excellent communication skills Ability to devise new approaches to solving problems Strong leadership and excellent project management skills Ability to work in a time and cost-effective manner Additional Skills & Qualifications Experience in the oil/gas and energy industry is a plus General knowledge of industrial piping and millwright projects Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office and scheduling software (Primavera or Microsoft Projects) Adherence to quality workmanship standards Project management skills BSME, construction, mechanical engineering, project engineering, project coordination, mechanical, estimation 2-year associate degree preferred but not required Experience in construction, industrial, or manufacturing industry 3+ years of experience in a project management role Work Environment The Project Manager will be working in a dynamic and collaborative environment. Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office and scheduling software such as Primavera or Microsoft Projects is essential. The role may involve working in various industrial settings, including construction, mechanical engineering, and project engineering. A professional demeanor and adherence to quality workmanship standards are expected. Job Type & Location This is a Permanent position based out of Northfield, MN. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $35.00 - $60.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
